This pendant began as rough opal held within its natural sedimentary host rock. It has been carved and polished entirely by hand in the workshop, following the stone’s natural formation to reveal the stunning gem within.
The finished opal is set in an oxidised “alien claw” mount, first sculpted in wax specifically for this stone, then cast in solid 925 sterling silver.

Patina and finish:
This finish is applied by hand and may fade and change over time, which can be considered an enhancement.
Please note that oxidised silver tends to appear darker in photographs than in person.
