Made entirely in solid 925 sterling silver, this Greek cross is stripped back to a structural form and suspended from a substantial industrial D-shackle, permanently closed to capture the cross while allowing it to move freely within the frame. Hand-scarred surfaces, stark geometry and a dark oxidised finish give it a raw, brutalist character. Choose an adjustable black cord or an oxidised sterling-silver chain. Built for daily wear.

Where it’s made

Every piece is designed, hand-carved, cast and finished by me in small batches in my North Wales workshop, using the lost-wax process — a method practised for thousands of years. No CAD or 3D printing is used; each design begins as a wax form shaped entirely by hand.

Meaning & origins

The Greek cross is defined by four equal arms meeting at a fixed centre. Its symmetry gives the form a sense of balance, steadiness and resolve.

Here it is treated as an industrial object rather than polished religious jewellery: solid sterling, an equal-armed form and scarred surfaces beneath a dark oxidised finish. The D-shackle introduces the form of a working connector — hardware originally designed to hold under load. A worn faith marker or personal emblem — direct, functional and understated.
