Finish & care
- Solid 925 sterling silver, made with recycled silver — not plated; nothing to peel or flake. Built for daily wear.
- The darkened oxidised surface will gradually shift with wear and become unique to you.
- Tool marks and small variations are intentional — each piece is unique.
- Remove before showering, swimming, heavy work, or contact with chemicals to help preserve the finish.
- Clean gently with the cloth provided; avoid chemicals and abrasives.
Where it’s made
Every piece is designed, hand-carved, cast and finished by me in small batches in my North Wales workshop, using the lost-wax process — a method practised for thousands of years. No CAD or 3D printing is used; each design begins as a wax form shaped entirely by hand.
Meaning & origins
The Orthodox cross is rooted in Eastern Christian tradition. Its more detailed form gives it a distinctive and recognisable silhouette, different from a plain Latin cross.
This piece is a stripped-back, hand-carved version of that form — less polished ornament, more carried object. A dark, solid cross with the feel of something older than its making.
